Philadelphia Remodeling Company, Global Home Improvement, Donates Roof Replacement for Deserving Wilmington Families During Taping of 'Extreme Makeov

PHILADELPHIA (Business Wire EON) March 31, 2008 -- While they were gone, crews were working around the clock to clean-up and repair the neighborhood on South Clayton Street and rebuild the homes of the Latif family and Rose Chapman. Donating their time and materials for the project was never a question for Global Home Improvement. Mr. Kazlov says, "We contacted 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' to help in any way that we could." He explains, "They wanted to lend a helping hand to the whole neighborhood, so we replaced 11 porch roofs across the street from the Latif family's house in one day."

The team from Global Home Improvement even trained Paige Hemmis, accomplished carpenter and part of the design team, how to use a nail gun. "Paige and the design team had such great energy during the whole project and that energy created a great atmosphere for the hundreds of volunteers," said Kazlov.
